¡Feliz cumpleaños Joan!

I suppose I should be saying that in Catalan (perhaps someone will give me a pointer…I think it’s: feliç aniversari). Why? Because today is Catalan surrealist painter and sculptor Joan Miró’s “eleventy-third” birthday. He truly had molts anys, since he was born in 1893 (where else but in Barcelona?) and died in 1983.

If you’re ever in Barcelona and want to know more, go up Montjuïc and have a walk through the Fundació Miró.

    ooohh…. look at those numbers: 1893, 1983… they contain the exact same numbers in a different order. Must be some sort of secret sect stuff like the code. You know? The code.

    I was thinking the same thing. Plus, the digits add up to 21 (no matter which order you add them, amazingly!), which is three times seven; both “holy” numbers. I think we need some kind of inquest into this… perhaps Da Vinci’s Inquest? Oops, I’ve said too much…
